General Rules
Respect. Respect your fellow role players and staff. There is to be absolutely NO harassment on this site. Also, ooc fighting is strictly prohibited. If any fights break out, I will warn the members responsible. If they continue, they will be banned. I understand how deeply involved we all get into the story, the characters become who you are.. But please keep yourself under control. It's just a site, we're all humans. Erm.. I think.
No Godmodling, power playing, scrypting, or chatspeak are to be allowed on this site.
In case people are unsure of what these terms are, I'll explain them below:
Godmodling.
The act of boosting your character to super-human, Godly stamina. A quick example would be say, a wolf with a broken hind leg. That wolf will not be able to defend it's self against a rival wolf pack.
Power Playing.
There is a lot of disputing around this topic. In essence, what is power playing? Power playing is the term used when one player has their character decide the outcome of another player's character. This usually occurs in battles, but can take place anywhere IC. Two demonstrations of the correct way to battle vs. the incorrect way are below in italics.
Jurak took a firm hold on Dura's scruff, keeping her still as his Alpha snarled in her face.
This is okay. Jurak, while he did grab hold of her and held on, he didn't dictate how she felt or reacted.
Jurak rushed forward and in one swift moment, grabed her scruff and threw her to the ground. With his vicious fangs, he tore into her neck and...
While it sounds cool.. This is obviously power playing and will not be tolerated!
Scrypting is obvious.
Rayna: Ever feel like you're being watched?
Brak: Watched? By who? -snarl-
Simba: Hope it's not a turtle.. Those things are scary..

I know it's funny, but that's what scrypting is. It's annoying when it's in a character post. However, I'll allow it for OOC areas.
Chatspeak is probably the biggest pet peeve for me. This when a player replaces letters or even words with numbers or symbols. Like +hi$ (this) for example. NOT okay. Please use proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation. If you can't do this, you don't belong here. Sorry, but this is an Advanced role play.
Swearing is allowed for now. However, do NOT go over-board on it. No pun intended. ^.-
There are a few censored words, but most of them are open. If we find swearing to be a problem here, this rule will be changed. Mark my words on this.
Also, there is to be NO flaming here! As mentioned before, harassment is not tolerated. Do not insult other's beliefs, religion, sex, race, sexual preference, etc. Any of this could result in an instant banning without warning.
In saying this, all images MUST be appropriate. No pornographic/inappropriate images will be allowed here. You post it, you pay for it. End of discussion.
Joining and Profile Rules
Please use the proper capitalization for your display name. Also, we would like it to display at least one of your characters' names.
For your signature, please have your character(s) in your signature. These can be images -no larger than 500x300 pixels- or just text. An example for text would be Spara, Male, Pack Member of Denali.. Feel free to customize the text with colors or symbols between the words. What ever you like.
You must wait for your character profiles to be accepted before you can join us in the IC area of the forum.
You can only have five wolves per account, but feel free to have as many accounts as you want. But remember, keep all of your characters active, or I will be stepping in to help lighten the load.
IC Posting Rules
All new members who have yet to post must do so within ONE week of joining. If not, their account(s) will be deleted!
Please have your character in only one thread at a time. Also, when your character leaves a thread, please post that character leaving and arriving at the new thread in ic. Aka, role play their departure and arrival.
This rule is dropped for the Alphas and/or Betas who wish to greet potenial new pack members at their border.
Posts are to be in third person, past tense please.
We have a 175+ minimum word limit for all IC posts. There's a fancy little word counter on the footer of all boards, so this shouldn't be too difficult.
Please separate dialog and thought from average writing.
This can be done with bold tabs, italic tabs, quotation marks, etc.
Fighting, Breeding, and Birthing Rules.
Fights can break out any where IC. If the two players can't come to a decision on who won the fight, they can ask me or a member of their choosing for help in Judging. Other wise, I will not step in and judge for you.
Breeding. Sex. Well, it is allowed. HOWEVER!! It must be non-graphic and kept short. Plus, if it is breeding, you must post a disclaimer in the topic title. That and it must be agreed for both players, even if it is rape. If it is consensual, then please wait a few days for the romance to blossom before mating. Let them fall in love. Let them court.
Birthing is to take place at least one week after breeding. Post the stats of both parents in the first post of the birthing topic, and wait for me to post the offsprings' stats.
Birthing is done in the dens. (Unless a Loner or an Exile.)

NEW RULE!All Alphas are required to keep an up-to-date pack manifest [thread] in their Borderlands of their packland. It must list the Alpha Male/Female, Beta Male/Female, Delta, Members, etc.
Effective: July 15th.
