Personality:
In no way does his habit of striving to strongly praise a devoted pack member make a conflict within the wolf pack hierachy, but it is a weak form of favouriting. After all, besides protecting yourself in a dangerous situation above others own needs- a pack can't work with just one member, so the next protected individual(s) on his list of 'Wolves who aren't just toys to blackmail with' can be given assistance. On the other hand, this characteristic often leads to Jokull's emotions becoming hard to control, disrupting his normal formal behaviour.
Inspirational, Jokull is technically a very good leader. Using locations and other existing 'props' to his pack's advantage, in the past Jokull frequently has gained the upperpaw against a rival pack. So far, he had not gained any role models within his past pack, but there is significant reason for it to possibly happen in the Kabira pack.
Since the only wolf he will come to enjoy living with 24/7, Mazda- the alpha female he has to eventually warm up to, Jokull will almost certainly become possessive over her, and jealous around others. This can especially be seen when his habit of 'giving praise' to loyal pack members hasn't been given a chance to be expressed at all. Without any other outlet to make himself feel commanding and important, he'll resort to being obsessed over his alpha mate, becoming aggressive to any wolf who 'trespasses' on the link between him and her.
Physical Description: A well matured, adult male Timber Wolf- standing at just over the average height of a solidly built alpha. His fur coat is long; the typical length of a wolf that lives in a frequently cold climate, or a snowy environment. Black in colour, the only other trace of colour is a dark burgundy found on the lower halves of his rear legs. He is lean and muscly, but his thick coat conceals this fact; save for his legs, where the fur is short, dense, and feathered. In the prime of his life, his overall condition is excellent. No sign of mange, blindness, or malnutrition hinder him. On his left foreleg, high above the pastern, is a jagged scar; that goes about 3/4 around his leg.
Quick History: Jokull was one of five pups born into a pure Timber Wolf pack, of average size. His pack were quite good at patrolling their territory, keeping out the loner and rival wolves whose intent were to either challenge one of the Alphas, or to try and get a 'free meal' from discarded carcasses. Although the first three years were peaceful, Jokull felt there was something missing from the pack- not control, but not enough domination. Outsider wolves were never accepted into the pack, but those who had been members of his pack for a good majority of their lives didn't take it -seriously-. It was all just a game to them.
In the end, before Jokull reached his prime; he had no intention of telling the pack about his thoughts, and he quickly left without any trouble. There was no place for him in a group that treated all as equals when there was no outsiders around to observe them. He's managed to get this far, working alone, living off kills made by other predators; sometimes taking down a small game animal by himself, occasionally a more larger one. A few times he has been in the presence of other loners, but he completely disregarded them. That is, until he arrived at the borders of the Kabira packland, where he has just met Mazda.

Audition Post:
Knowing beforehand that the snow tends to conceal the truth on exactly where the level of the ground really is located, Jokull kept to the areas that he had trotted briskly over only a moment ago. Although no wolf can truly become stuck in snow that wasn't as solid as it looked, he didn't want to take any chances of looking foolish if he found himself sunk into the snow, up to his flanks. This clearing wasn't very large, but it was close to the borders of the forest- so if the need to hastily leave the area arose, there would be no problems.
Pausing, Jokull quickly looked over a log that was blocking his path; heavily covered with snow, but still quite sturdy enough to carry his weight. Without a further thought he stepped up onto the log, being careful not to favour one side of the log too much otherwise it might wish to topple over in that direction. Raising his head slowly, he surveyed the clearing. A whole morning spent patrolling the no wolf's land between two territories, and not a single creature in sight. Save for that Red Squirrel that was curiously watching him from up top a high branch. But that squirrel didn't matter; Jokull wished to enter the forest, as he knew whom it belonged to. The Kabira Pack.
His stern gaze never paused to fixate on an individual tree or a snow bank, as his tufted ears slowly swivelled towards one direction, then another. From the looks of things, the Kabira Pack was very small. A good thing. That means he could build it up into a very well structured pack, with the strict hierarchy that all successful wolf packs strive to possess. He had learned of the Kabira Pack from various animals not from this area, of course. Although Jokull had a bad habit of contemplating the concept of gathering together the lone wolves to form a pack from scratch, as he preferred to help those he deemed worthy- he can get out of control if he goes too far with his ideas. There were pros and cons with this thought, but he managed to suppress it. Too many things that can go wrong.
